Yep, today is show and tell, with completed pieces and with one in progress. Here goes -
This one is finally done - not realistic, but great on a gray day.
This is "The Quarry". It is similar to earlier pieces, but this one is the most satisfying. It's on my favorite support, unbleached linen with a clear gesso. A fantastic, tight-woven, springy surface.
This will be a piece suitable for a gentleman's library. (Think "art is an oil painting of a horse") Yes, that kind of woody, dark, comfy space. You may have seen it before, but it will continue to morph.
