And Art Fair Prep Begins

This past week has been spent sorting paintings and setting up for Art In Action (Londonderry).
This year, I will have, as a new entry, acrylic mosaics - a form combining paint and collage work.
Of course, there will be seasonal goodies (the famous WWGWW? tees; party birds; Christmas animals).

And the Beat Goes On..and On..

Another week in the Lane -  I will never get over the petty obstacles that we encounter:

I mean, really - there is parking the entire length of this six-block area.

 What is chosen?  The spot directly in front of our mural.

Never mind that getting close enough to the wall has necessitated two sessions

of weeding; removing dirt and straggly shrubs; avoiding the garbage dumped out

over the entire area by someone having a less-than-good day; standing on a folding

chair on a scrap board which is propped up on bunched-up plastic bags to level it;

yesterday, we had to move a woodpile of cut branches.  I don't get it.

However, the driver, when he did appear, was a nice guy, apologetic, and interested in our work.

  I keep working on getting something decent for my art sites. Is this one any better?

This is the one and only summer trip to Wolfeboro

And Finally...

Too busy to write?  Would you believe that?  Too hot?  Too tired?  All of the preceding?

  It's true, but progress has been made - the Lane is looking good:
