After this week, yousr truly needs to spend some time painting.
The installation is due in a week, I need to pick up a piece that has shown since late fall, and another full workweek is beckoning.

I'm back on the bus (far right)off to do some work

Londonderry continued

I'll keep posting some of  images that you can see and own for the next few days.

This is half of "Shell Wreaths"

About the Exhibit in Londonderry

Yep, I'm back to self-promotion. Let me tell you about the Londonderry Arts Council and the exhibit program they have at the Londonderry Leach Library - you can guess which town it's in.

The Library provides an exhibition of nine 2D pieces by local artists. The work is original and all for sale. The staff has an inventory/price list, artist's bio, and contact info for the public if they wish to have the artist show workin a different venue, produce a specific piece, or purchase what is there.

I appreciate the opportunity to exhibit during the quiet time of year (and it is indoors!).
Stop by and see - let me know your thoughts about my work.

Here are two pieces that will be in the library:

I Think We're Back in Business

It's been a chaotic two weeks, my readers. Setting up for a small exhibit in Londonderry, selecting a piece for the Friends Art Auction in May....reporting in cohertly to the day job.  I'm getting ready for Spring Vacation - as soon as the upcoming snowstorm blows through.  We'll talk on Wednesday.

So, first here is a shot of the donated piece -

The Friends are a group that does a lot of good in the Concord area with four programs:
Emergency Housing; Foster Grandparents; RSVP; and Youth Mentoring.
As they say, "Four Programs  One Mission". You can find them at 202 N. State St in Concord, or at  www.friendsprogram.org.

Just When You Thought I Had Left the Building.....

I'm still here, puttering around, collecting some pieces for showings.

At this point, you can see some of my work at the Londonderry Leach Library during the month of April.
I'll be posting more info, and hopefully some pictures to update you by this weekend.

The day job keeps interfering

Yep, being back at work does sort of slow the painting process.  My "war/peace" faces are still unfinished - ditto for the caravan. But, they are progressing.....

As soon as I work out camera/phone transfers, the site will be as it was.

Meanwhile, a word of advice....don't get a new phone, computer, car all at once. Too much reading and trial-and -error!
