Let's Talk About Me...

During previous posts, I've meandered around the abstract direction being explored.  Have showed you a couple of pieces.

So, here is what's happening: some aren't abstract, some are in progress, some have been completed. But, here's what's happening in my world.

This is my modern saint, an ebola health worker - he needs more definition that is not all chin - it's the apple.   Yes, you saw this photo in the nyt

    This is "Arcs". It's big - 32 x 36 (approx)

playing with pointillism

This is "Life 1"  still in progress, and larger than "Arcs"

This is still in progress - not even named. And, you can see the "bounce" from a very shiny passing car outside the studio.

It's Happening In April!!

No, faithful readers, I'm not talking about being able to go outside without a parka. This event will be even better.  Relaxing, fun, you take home a souvenir, and perhaps, sip a glass of wine on a sun-filled  afternoon.

Sounds good??

The ArtGypsies have partnered with the Fisher Cats NH to present an "arty afternoon".

And Here's Some More-

This is my religious work for 2015.  It's called "From the Old Book to the New".  what do you read in it?

Meanwhile, technology is failing me - painting files are not uploading. See you tomorrow

The Late Post...

Yes, it is later than promised/suggested/pledged/said/mentioned. Have been busy and undercaffinated.  So, here goes with a dip into abstraction.

It hasn't been stretched yet. won't look like cellular shade when done.
May I add that this has been alluded to?  And, it's not finished yet.

This one is on masonite, with lots of grit (not grits) added - quite tactile (and possibly not done yet, either).

"Bright Lights 10PM"

This will be Kadinsky-like by Wednesday - it's gessoed canvas on foamboard.
