We Were There, We Did That

Here we go again, heading for another holiday weekend.
  I just did this one

And, today the world looks season-appropriate for the next one. Tomorrow's about the last chance to post 2015 art.  So. I will

With all the horrid things happening in this sometimes ugly world, sometimes a moment of love is needed.

Progressing Towards Fall

I don't do genre, but I am prone to doing favors.  This work in progress is for a friend-

This is an up-and-coming Christmas gift (I rarely, rarely, do portraits)

Last Trolley Night for Manchester 2015

It starts at 5pm and ends when your brain is saturated with ART. There are 13 stops, lots of people, refreshments, and the opportunity to meet artists and chat.

I'll  be at the Rines Center on Elm St (near Pappy's).  Here are the pieces I'm showing:

Continuing....

Yes, I am working on more than grapes.  Take a look at some custom chandelier work for a client:

Will be gilding an accenting it this PM.

Was listening to satellite radio the other day, and heard "American Pie" on the way to class.  It is still in progress:

Yes, I Did

I did participate in the July Manchester Trolley Night - was at the MAA Gallery on Elm St (across the street from Pappy's Pizza).  Such a loss that this great building and "show" space is not in full-time use.

Here are two photos:

There was limited spece, so showed only a few pieces

A larger acrylic piece shown separately in the Gallery. (Outer Islands, Hawaii)

Lazy Me

I've been refinishing furniture, traveling, seeing some people - not painting.
Here are a few shots from the road:

These shots were all done in NJ - there is only one real person, and
she is carrying a purse.

Almost Forgot!

I do enjoy playing with technology - especially phones. Here's a revisit to "Feel the Beat"

And here is a work in progress.....

More to come...

I've Been Away

I would like to say globe-trotting, but a four-state tour doesn't quite rate that title. But, I do have some travel photos:

Here I am getting into the car during one of the four rainy days we traveled.

This is pretty much what we saw - beautiful hotels, ugly weather.

However, there were some saving graces in the road trip.  This is Lake George, NY

This is the NY side of Lake Champlain - yes, it was this georgeous.
