Yesterday

A good day for a jaunt - off to Portsmouth.  Stopped at brie's Boutique.  A great place, collected by a woman with a good eye: Brie.  Out of the way trip until the bridge is opened, but worth the trip. Great deals!

Went downtown - try Fat Belly's, and go upstairs to eat or enjoy a drink, on the iced bar. Interesting! A place with ambience, good food and prices, and some nice folks in the bar area.
Found one of those red buckets and a bell, too.

Ended the day's trek at Popovers. It always looks crowded and not worth the wait. I have one word for that - Wait!  and get the sundae.

Where Have I Been?

Not much from me in the way of posts this past month - art exhaustion, seasonal exhaustion, etc.

However, there are other things of interest for readers:  for those of you in NH, go over to the Currier Art Museum  Enjoy a show that may not appear anywhere else - Escher.  Yes, a private collection of this amazing work, 180 pieces in all. See a chronological display of work that stretches over three rooms. (Couches, manipulatives, a video, magnifying glasses are all provided on site.) If you are not a member, check Currier's website for hours of free admission - and enjoy Escher for a $5 fee.

Go to Portsmouth - enjoy holiday lights, Popovers' bakery, a stroll.

Contribute to the bellringers with a red kettle.  Share the happy!
